Sessions Prep & Aftercare Instructions

Preparation

To ensure the best experience, please follow these steps:

  • Clothing: Wear loose, comfortable clothing to help you relax.

    • In-Person Only: Bring or wear socks. Avoid makeup or perfume, as face-down work may occur..

  • Virtual Only

    • Environment: Prepare a quiet, comfortable space where you can sit or lie down without distractions.

    • Music (Optional): Use headphones and play soft, instrumental music if it helps create a calming atmosphere.

    • Technology: A Zoom meeting link is generated as a standard for each virtual session and included in your confirmation email and reminders. If you prefer to connect on another platform (Facetime, WhatsApp or Facebook/Instagram Messenger), please let me know in advance via email or text.

The Session

For all sessions - we’ll begin with a brief conversation to discuss your main concerns, goals, and intentions. Depending on your needs, we may also start with a simple grounding exercise to help you feel centered.

For In-Person Sessions

  • Eden Method: This hands-on session includes active communication and feedback. The final 15-20 minutes focus on restorative, quiet techniques to deepen integration.

  • Reiki: This session involves light touch with minimal communication, allowing you to relax and enjoy a peaceful, meditative experience.

For Virtual Sessions - after we chat, you can:

  • Stay connected: Remain on Zoom (muted), so I can bring you back gently at the end.

  • Disconnect: Leave the call and relax privately. I will call or text you when the session is complete to share insights and next steps.

  • During the session, you’re welcome to: Lie down, relax, or meditate & play calming music or simply enjoy the quiet.

Aftercare

Your session initiates energetic shifts, so it’s important to support your body and mind during the integration process.

  • Hydrate: Drink 1-2 glasses of water immediately after the session and continue to hydrate throughout the day with electrolytes (e.g., Celtic salt or coconut water).

  • Rest: Avoid physical strain and honor your body’s need for rest and recovery.

  • Journal (Optional): Reflect on your session and note any emotions, insights, or physical sensations that arise.

  • Detox Reactions: Mild detox symptoms such as fatigue, emotional shifts, or vivid dreams are common and may last 24-48 hours. These are positive signs of healing, but please let me know if anything feels intense or unusual.

  • Homecare or Homework

    • For Eden Method: You’ll receive simple homecare techniques to help integrate and reinforce the shifts from your session. I’ll share a few exercises in person and may follow up with video links for guidance.

    • For Angelic Reiki: You’ll receive instructions for simple energy holds or chakra-focused practices to assist with integration. Energy shifts from Reiki may continue for 21-28 days post-session.

Follow-up Sessions

Everyone’s energy is different, but here’s a general guide to help you plan:

Short-term or recent concerns: 1–2 sessions may be all you need to reset and feel better

Chronic or long-standing issues: 3–5 sessions, spaced about 1 week apart, often give your system the consistency it needs to shift deeper patterns

Ongoing support: Monthly sessions can help maintain balance and keep your energy strong through stress, seasonal changes, or transitions

If you’re booking more than one session in a week, be sure to allow at least 24 hours between sessions so your body has time to integrate the work. Feel free to reach out if you’re unsure what’s best for you!
